At Dreamfields, we are dedicated to research and development of new methodologies
for urban mobility and social change, promoting creative regeneration processes in
cities worldwide. Our public actions aspire to change the way we dream, imagine and
plan our built environments.
We created the urban engine - a fun, interactive and simple tool to develop social
structures in a public space. Through a multidimensional and playful urban gaming
experience, Dreamfields' urban engine enables city inhabitants to work and act
together in their neighborhood, in their city, everywhere around the world.
Dreamfields TLV pilot game.
The web-based gaming platform, developed for the plaza of the new wing of the Tel Aviv Art Museum, examines the relationship between human actions in the virtual world and in the built up environment. The game grows and develops by the collective intelligence of its participants, allowing you to place objects spontaneously. In the center of the field lays a stack of thousands of cubes and a 3D map simulates the site. The players are invited to choose a cube and place it in the field: first on the virtual map and then at the museum plaza. The platform allows the creation of three dimension structures that evolve throughout the progress of the event and reacts to the surroundings. This collective creation will take place by the simultaneous actions of thousands of people using a computer or a smart phone from anywhere across the globe.
