The walk will combine simple meditative practices, movement and experimental group reflections on a well-curated path. While walking, we might cross into hidden paths and collaborate to create immediate artistic responses to our surroundings, using our bodies and creative minds.
Walking Meditation is a known concept in many ancient traditions. In recent years, This unique method for the mindful sensory walk was developed by Nisan to the contemporary practice of poetic place&self inquiry based on teachings by Zen Masters, performance artists and the wisdom of Jewish meditators. The practice is inspired by the city itself and what it brings at a specific moment. The practice enables participants to fully connect, be present and be awoken to the place they are at. We believe that conscious walks bring awareness and shed light upon internal desires, it connects us as individuals and as a group of walkers. The practice enables one to be more focused, mindful and have a brighter intuition. As we walk, we play, connect to the place and to the moment. The walks are adaptable and fun, So you might want to take more than one!
